Well it's what every 007 fan has been waiting for, the first offical image of the new James Bond film, Skyfall. The image shows Daniel Craig, 007, trying out a sexy unshaven look holding a gun.The shot was taken from a scene set in Shanghai and shows Daniel Craig playing Ian Fleming's 007 for his third time. Sam Mendes, director of hit drama film 'American Beauty', is directing Skyfall which boasts a cast of Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Dame Judi Dench and Javier Bardem.
Skyfall is expected to be released in the UK and Ireland on the 26 October, 50 years after Dr No the first James Bond film was aired in 1962 with actor Sean Connery as the first 007.
After a fire last week at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, where the 23rd Bond movie is being filmed there were fears amongst Bond fans that the set may have been damaged putting the production at risk. But fear not the blaze which started in a catering lorry being used to feed Skyfall's cast and crew only spread to the roof of a neighbouring studio building and was quickly put out.
This incident does raise a question over Bond's safety as this isn't the first time he has been put at risk in Pinewood. In 2006 a fire destroyed Pinewood's large James Bond stage, not long after filming on Casino Royale had completed.
Pinewood Studios assures Bond fans that the fire on the 27th January did not affect the production as none was taking place that day.So apart from having hungry actors there has been no damage or delay caused to the production of this latest Bond film.
