Stars abandon Quentin Tarantino

A villainous trainer who pits slaves against each other

Quentin Tarantino's latest film project Django Unchained is facing cast problems as both Kurt Russell and Sacha Baron Cohen have pulled out of filming without warning.

The Pulp Fiction director was set to team up with Kurt Russell who he also directed in Death Proof. Kurt was to play Ace Woody, a villainous trainer who pits slaves against each other in Quentins new violent western but The Thing star has now left the production. The previous actor, Kevin Costner, signed up to play Woody also pulled out of production due to scheduling difficulties.

"First Kevin Costner, and now Kurt Russell has exited the cast of QT's Django Unchained. No reason given or replacement named..."

Borat star Cohen has also pulled out of the movie with 'scheduling conflicts' cited as the reason for his exit. Cohen told The Howard Stern Show "That was going to be a cameo, but I had to drop out because of The Dictator's press tour."

With no word on who will replace Kurt and the loss of funnyman Cohen, Quentin faces some serious reshuffling. Let's hope that he doesn't loose any more stars such as Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, and Samuel L. Jackson.
