"The Vow" tells the true story of a newlywed couple Paige and Leo who suffer an horrific car crash one snowy night in November 1993 when a truck hits their car from behind, as a result Paige enters into a comma and wakes up weeks later with severe memory loss and can't remember any of her life with her new husband.
The movie is based upon the book "The Vow" written by Kim Carpenter which tells the true story of Kim and Krickitt Carpenter who went through the same ordeal.
Directed by the fantastic Michael Sucsy (Deep Impact, Grey Gardens) who has also co-written it with Abby Kohn (Never Been Kissed, He's Just Not That Into You) and Marc Silverstein (Opposite Sex, Valentine's Day).
