64 year old Action MegaStar Arnold Schwarzenegger suffered a head injury whilst on set filming his new action thriller movie "The Last Stand" in New Mexico.

Reports say the wound was not serious and he was able to return back to filming later that day.

He later posted a photo of his injury on Twitter and Tweeted "Got a little banged up on set today. Thanks to the medical staff who got me back in action an hour later! (sic)".

In the movie, Arnie stars as Sheriff "Ray Owens", an ex LAPD agent who has dedicated the rest of his life to fighting crime in his small town of "Sommerton Junction". Discovering a drug cartel leader has escaped from a FBI prisoner convoy, and is heading straight for "Sommerton Junction", it's the job of Arnie, his inexperienced staff and the whole of U.S. law enforcement to stop the prisoner from passing through "Sommerton Junction" and over the Mexican border.

The movie also stars Forest Whitaker, Rodrigo Santoro and "Jackass Star" Johnny Knoxville.

No release dates are yet set, but we should see it hit our screens in 2013.
