He was due to play a show infront of 5000 fans at a casino in Ontario but Canadian officials wouldn't let him through customs meaning he had to cancel the show.
He tried using Twitter to draw some attention to the issue, check out these tweets!
"HELP! I'm gonna be late for Casino Rama show unless someone can force Canadian customs officials to let us land in Orillia.
"Let me in! I must perform at Casino Rama, Orillia tonight at 9 for 5000 Canadians!"
"Tonight's Casino Rama show postponed. I'm sorry. I can't enter Canada. We must abolish the borders between our nations AND our minds."
It's not the first time Russell's had trouble entering a country. Back in May Russell was deported from Japan where he'd gone to visit his wife Katy Perry who was on tour there, and Russ was refused entry into the US back in 2008. The Arthur star - who of course now lives in the States - was denied entry and went on to a miss an appearance on the David Letterman's chat show.
