American President Barack Obama is planning to raise more than $8 Million for his re-election campaign and is expected to raise a large bulk of that money from just six fund-raisers based in California, he'll now spend the next 3 days hitting the cities of Corona Del Mar, Los Angeles and San Francisco to try and raise some of those funds, further money is expected to be raised in the state of Washington.According to reports from "The Center for Responsive Politics (CRP)" the West Coast state of California has given more money to the Obama Campaign than in any other state in the United States.
But with Obama expecting to raise a vast sum of money from Hollywood, the question is, will Hollywood feel generous enough to reciprocate, given that the music and movie industry were backing the anti-piracy legislation which was halted in congress last month, and according to Senior Vice President of "Media Access Project" Andrew Schwartzman, Obama should expect questions from Hollywood regarding the anti-piracy legislation and its future.
We'll see over the next week how Obama has progressed with the $8 Million he wants to raise.
