On Saturday a host of Ireland's finest screen creative talent attended the 9th Annual Irish Film & Television Awards celebrations which took place at the spectacular Convention Centre in Dublin.

London Irish film director and screenwriter John Michael McDonagh walked away with the most awards after picking up the "Best Film", "Director Film" and "Script Film" awards for his 2011 Irish black comedy movie "The Guard", which he wrote and directed, John Michael McDonagh also picked up the award for "Irish Film Board Rising Star"
