The movie, set to be released on the 29th of June 2012 stars Dwayne Johnson (The Scorpion King, Walking Tall) as Roadblock, Channing Tatum (She's the Man, War of the Worlds) as Duke and Bruce Willis (Pulp Fiction, The Fifth Element) as General Joseph Colton. The story follows the "G.I. Joe" Team who come into a conflict with Zartan, Storm Shadow and Firefly, who are all serving under the newly released Cobra Commander. Zartan then frames all of the "G.I. Joe" operatives as traitors and wipes most of them out in a sneak attack, leaving only Roadblock, Snake Eyes, Flint and Lady Jaye.
Directed by Jon Chu (Silent Beats, Step Up 2: The Streets) and written by Rhett Reese (Zombieland, Monsters Inc) and Paul Wernick (Zombieland, Deadpool), "GI Joe: Retaliation" looks like a awesome follow-up movie.
