London Philharmonic to perform Computer Songs

Andrew Missingham said that music plays an important role in computer games

The London Philharmonic Orchestra is set to perform songs from around 25 computer games in what is part of the "Music Festival in the City" event, which is tracing the history of music in computer games.

Songs performed will range from classic games such as Mario Bros, Tetris and the Legend of Zelda to more recent titles such as Little Big Planet, Angry Birds and Grand Theft Auto.

Director Andrew Missingham said that music plays an important role in computer games.
