Visitors to the LG Arena are being given an even greater experience, following the installation of a unique 3D TV experiential feature by LG Electronics. The 3D 'Zone' was developed to give visitors the chance to experience LG's unique CINEMA 3D technology and test out the latest products developed by the global electronics company. Visitors to the venue can enter what feels like a living room - complete with a sofa and soft furnishings - and try out a range of features, including LG's Smart TV and the Sky 3D channel, as well as being educated on the various features of LG's next generation CINEMA 3D experience. The Zone also offers visitors the chance to enjoy pre-concert gaming and challenge each other in both 2D and 3D.
This unique 3D experience Zone was produced by creative communications agency Brainstorm, alongside the teams from LG Electronics and the LG Arena, to develop a unique experience to the thousands of visitors entering the arena each week.
Laura Taylor from Brainstorm, said "LG Electronics approached us to create something special for visitors to the venue. They wanted something that not only had a real 'wow' factor but also gave people the chance to see the amazing things that 3D can do. Seeing really is believing with this technology so the intention was to give people the chance to try everything from the comfort of the glasses to the stunning visuals from the TVs, to help drive purchase intent. We created the living room experience to allow people to see how it worked in a 'real life' setting".
Visitors to the LG Arena can now visit the Zone and receive expert advice from fully-trained ambassadors.
Guy Dunstan, General Manager of the LG Arena and its sister venue the NIA, said "The LG CINEMA 3D Zone is a fantastic asset to the venue as it provides our visitors with an even greater experience. When the arena was redeveloped back in 2009, we worked with LG Electronics to ensure that the new-look LG Arena gave people more than just a live show. Since then, we have introduced a range of features including a networking bar, complete with computers and internet connections, and a pre and post-show entertainment space, Forum Live, where people can enjoy live entertainment before the main event.
"LG is keen to educate consumers on the benefits of CINEMA 3D and it made sense that they used our relationship to do just that. Each year, we welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors, so this gives LG a unique opportunity to engage this captive audience and bring to life the benefits of this exciting platform".
