Hoping to be crowned the winner of the 11th series are TOWIE star Mark Wright, Champion Jockey Willie Carson, Olympic Athlete Fatima Whitbread MBE, Actress/Presenter Jessica-Jane Clement, Emmerdale Actress Lorraine Chase and Coronation Street star Antony Cotton.
This years contestants also include Hart to Hart Actress Stefanie Powers, Benidorm Actress and Comedian Crissy Rock and McFly Bassist Dougie Poynter 23 who went into rehab earlier this year due to stress but is looking forward to the challenge of going into the jungle. Dougie's band mate and best friend, Matt Willis, is a former winner of the show and told Dougie that he 'had to do it' as he "had the best night's sleep ever under the stars".
Bush Tucker Trials should be no problem for the last celebrity to enter the jungle, Freddie Starr who is famed for reportedly eating a hamster placed between two pieces of bread. They will be a problem however for Antony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully in Coronation Street, as he's not looking forward to them and also suffers from claustrophobia, fear of heights and of flying.
Antony 36 has "a morbid fear of flying" and has sought therapy and hypnotherapy to help him face hie fears, he says "The therapy was amazing even though in the days leading up to going in the jungle, I did have moments where I wondered why on earth I had said yes. But life is to live and so I think 'why not do it'."
Host's Ant and Dec return to present their 11th series near Murwillumbah situated in the New South Wales state of Australia. The excitable duo crowned the shows first winner, Radio 1 DJ Tony Blackburn, in 2002 and their cheeky witt has seen them crown all of the previous winners including Matt Willis, Kerry Katona, Joe Swash and last years winner Stacey Solomon. Who will they crown as this years King or Queen of the Jungle....?
