Interscope Records manage a vast variety of artists including big names such as "The Black Eyed Peas", "Eminem", "Timbaland" and "Blink-182". With "Madonna" being added to Interscopes books, Kina is in good company and being with such a respected and powerful organisation it looks like she will be a great success.
"In Your Arms" is Kinas latest single and is very reminiscent of Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes", her use of jelly beans in the video also reminds us of Gabriel's award-winning video for "Sledgehammer". The video for "In Your Arms" is made entirely out of jelly beans and shows a creative but edgy side to Kina, much like Peter Gabriel. Is Gabriel Kina's inspiration?
It took 22 months to create the video for "In Your Arms", using a vast quantity of jelly beans, 288,000 to be precise! With 30 people working on the project to make the jelly beans appear animated the video is an impressive creation and perfectly suited to Kina's song.
