J.Lo, Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson got a lot of credit for giving "idol" a fresh new look on screen, their much gentler attitude towards the contestants was much preferred by viewers and contestants which showed in the huge ratings.
Does this mean ratings will again prove to be high, or will it have an adverse effect with no fresh face in the line up?
