The first three celebrities for Torvill and Dean's Dancing On Ice 2012 have been confirmed and Birmingham's NIA are delighted to welcome contestants Heidi Range, Chico and Sam Attwater to the glittering live tour, skating over to the NIA from 27 - 29 April.As the current television series of Dancing On Ice reaches its halfway point, the competition is hotting up with the contestants battling it out to become this year's ice king or queen. The reigning champion of last year's competition, Ex-Eastenders actor Sam Attwater, is one of the contestants who have confirmed their place on the 2012 tour and is guaranteed to put on a dazzling display at the NIA, showing off his show winning ice skating skills.
The flamboyant X-Factor star Chico is certain to entertain, and as the bookies' current third-favourite to win, he is guaranteed to put on an impressive performance, alongside the Sugababes' Heidi Range who's winning smile and increasing confidence has gained her high scores on the ITV1 show every Sunday night.
After wowing more than one million people across the country in previous years with stunning ice performances, skating legends Torvill and Dean will also be amazing the crowds along with the professional skaters, as they take to the ice with their sensational routines and breathtaking stunts.
And the best part of the tour? The audience are part of each show! The audience can text in a vote for their favourite celebrity and these votes are combined with the judges' score to choose the top two skaters who will perform the legendary Bolero, for the chance to be the Dancing On Ice tour champion. All profits from text voting go to charity.
