20 year old Danny was taken to the hospital to be checked over, but he assures fans that he's recovering well and no serious damage was caused.
He Tweeted "Reading! I am so so sorry for not being there today. Truly. From the bottom of my heart! I've had a check up after the bump and everything's".
The Reading lights were eventually turned on by "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Snatch" actor Andy Beckwith.
Danny is due to turn on the Christmas lights in Durham this weekend with "Emmerdale" actors Lucy Pargeter and Dominic Brunt.
Last week Miller announced that during the Spring next year he would be leaving his role as Mechanic Aaron Livesy in the ITV Show, he said "It has been an incredibly difficult decision but after three years playing Aaron and much soul-searching, I am eager to explore other roles. I am so grateful to Emmerdale for the opportunity that I have been given and have loved every moment. I will miss everyone enormously but this might not be the last we see of Aaron".
It's still unknown if Danny will return to the show, but he did say "that's not to say it's the end for Aaron".
