Details of Hulk Hogan's divorce come to light

Terry will be allowed to keep all future earnings made from personal appearances

Details of Hulk Hogan and his ex-wife Linda Bolla's divorce have come to light in an article published in the "St. Petersburg Times".

Professional Wrestler Hulk Hogan, who's real name is Terry Bollea married his now ex-wife Linda on the 18th of December 1983 and they went on to have daughter Brooke and son Nick, the family shot into the media limelight after appearing in their own reality TV show "Hogan Knows Best".

In the article, it explains that in the divorce settlement, Linda received around 70% of the couples liquid assets, she also walked away with 40% ownership of several companies, a $3 Million "property settlement" and around $7.44 Million of the $10.41 Million held in bank and investment accounts owned by the couple.

Linda also took ownership of various cars including a Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce, Corvette and a collection of off-road vehicles. Terry was well known as an avid collector of cars and bikes, therefore any remaining vehicles became the property of Terry. Terry will be allowed to keep all future earnings made from personal appearances and through the sale of his 2009 book titled "My Life Outside the Ring".

Although this all sounds like bad news for the hulkster, he will not be required to pay alimony to ex-wife Linda under the settlement.

The marriage of Terry and Linda started to break down after Christiane Plante, who was a close friend of daughter Brooke, revealed to the "The National Enquirer" that she had an affair with Terry in 2007.

On the 20th November 2007, Linda filed for divorce after finding out about the affair, and Terry admitted at the time that he had considered committing suicide.

Terry has since re-married and now lives with his current wife Jennifer McDaniel at their home in Tampa, Florida.

Terry's lawyers have said that their divorce settlement shows the couple should dealt with this through arbitration and not the courts.
