Legendary Hollywood Movie star Cheetah the Chimp sadly died on the 24th December at The Suncoast Primate Sanctuary based in Palm Harbor, Florida aged 80, the cause is known to be due to kidney failure.Born around 1931, Cheetah will be most known and remembered as the chimpanzee character who appeared in a number of Hollywood Tarzan movies between 1930 and 1960, he was also known as "Org".
Debbie Cobb, the Outreach Director at the Suncoast Sanctuary said that Cheetah loved to finger paint and seeing people laughing, a special resident that will surely be missed.
