Arctic Monkeys take a break from the Studio

Alex Turner claims this is due to lack of inspiration

Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner has decided that his band are going to take a studio break and focus on Touring, he claims this is due to lack of inspiration.

He said to The Sun Newspaper "I don't really write on the road any more. We come up with a few ideas on sound checks and that but I have written too many terrible lyrics touring around. As yet there is no plan to return to the studio next year, we're keeping our heads down. We've always been thinking about the next move. For now we're just focused on the touring".

They are due to start their world tour in October this year.

The Arctic Monkeys formed in 2002 and shot to fame with their number 1 record "Bet You Look Good on the Dance Floor" released in October of 2005 which featured on their 2006 Album "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not".

If you get a chance to get tickets to one of their live shows, we highly recommend it.
